How Does Your Garden Grow?

Our neglected-for-three-years garden was full of leaves, weeds, growing trees, catnip that never dies, and deteriorated chicken wire. Luckily, it is located at the bottom of our property, so I don't have to see it!

We spent two days getting it all cleaned up and added new black plastic fencing to keep the deer and bunnies out. The catnip is getting transferred to some pots. We're hoping the seedless blackberry bushes come back to life.

I have a lot of different bulbs in the flower beds around the garden, and the deer are already eating the new growth. They don't like daffodils, so I'll have a few blossoms to photograph! The garden is Ted's responsiblity. It's enjoyable until the summer gets here and the flies start biting!

Do you have a garden? What do you plant?

YUM - Get that garden going. The reward is worth the work.
