Big Chief!

After walking 4 1/2 miles at the mall this morning, Ted and I stopped at Walmart to pick up a few things. A young couple was getting their two little girls out of the car, and I spotted their adorable dog.

We are partial to big dogs - we've shared our lives with several Alaskan Malamutes, and they are truly gentle giants. This is Chief, a husky, and he is two years old. So sweet, and very soft!

When we came out of the store, he was sitting in the back looking out the window toward the door. He couldn't wait until his family came back!

Isn't he beautiful! My parents love Husky's. I used to enjoy larger dogs but Lily seems like the max to me now. Brent would like a Weimaraner (sp?). Not in this house!

What a great day to get out and walk!

What a good looking dog. I have never owned a dog but if I did it would be a big dog like him.
