You'll Think of Glen Campbell!

Last night we drove an hour north to Lexington, Kentucky, to see Southern Lights. We've seen it before, but it is the perfect activity to get you in the Christmas spirit. A local rado station plays Christmas music for you to enjoy as you drive through the Kentucky Horse Park.

At $15 a carload, they were raking in the dough last night as the line to get in was very long!

There are a lot of displays, and various themes - including princesses, Star Wars, The Old West, and of course, Santa and lots of elves.

The 12 Days of Christmas is one of my favorite displays.

After you go through the park, there is more to see and do - especially for the gazillion kids that were there. They have a petting zoo, camel rides, donkey rides, and train rides. In a couple of buildings they have train and doll house diplays, and if you want to wait in a very long line, you can see Santa Claus.

Are you singing Glen's song in your head yet? I'll be back after the weekend - enjoy your holiday!

Sweet! They do something like that here at one of the parks, only no petting zoo at the end.
Merry Christmas Laura! Hope you have a beautiful holiday!
PS, my card will be in the mail to you next week probably--I'm a wee bit behind. :)
