Red Hot Holiday Happenin'!

Last night was our Red Hot Christmas get-together. Pam graciously opened her home and fixed dinner for us! Her house was decorated so beautifully - don't you love her tree?

The tree was full of sparkly cute ornaments like this snow queen!

We even had a Signature Drink for the occasion - Red, hot, and sugary green around the edges! I know, you're saying, how did she get that sugar green? We all said the same thing!

And to go with it, this yummy cheese ring with strawberry preserves in the middle!

Phyllis said yes to the signature drink!

Dinner was delish - salad, chicken (or was it turkey?) tetrazzini, and rolls. Check out the butter in the shape of a Christmas tree. Pam hand carved it herself - not really, but I'd love watching her try to do that!

Pam sent a subliminal message at the head of the buffet line - EAT DESSERT FIRST! I love that brownie holder cloche bell jar thingy!

After dinner, we did what we do best - crafts! We made holiday gift tags. We could open our own Michaels store with the stash of stuff we all have! And Mylinda had to remind us that after Christmas, you can get all the self-stick tags you want at Target for cheap, cheap, cheap. We love Mylinda for that - did I mention her Red Hot name is Red Hot Bargain Babe?

It was time to open gifts - we draw names and don't reveal until that night. What a perfect gift for Pam. She secretly wishes she lived at the beach!

Here is Lorie fighting to get Sharon's pink sports bag.

Of course, the best was saved for last - can you say YUM? I plan to eat at Pam's every night!

Here we are - all except Karen, whose daughter is in the hospital right now. We are all smiles either because:

1. We had too many signature drinks!

2. We're on a sugar high from the chocolate!

3. We finally figured out where Peggy was going on her secret weekend!

4. We spent 10 minutes playing musical chairs so that no two matching colored shirts were standing or sitting next to each other.

5. We had a fun time, as we always do!

Thanks for a great evening, Pam. Happy Holidays from the Red Hots!
