These are amazing photos - you were so close? were you on their migration trail?hugs,Nancy and the fatties
Loved yesterday's post too!! Amazing pics of those beautiful birds!!! Too bad I won't be at RH to hear all about your wonderful vacation. Would love to see Alaska too. Wondering what Ted thought of it all as well.:0)Peggy
Nancy - there were so many eagles, it was so awesome! We saw two nests - they are huge, and the eagles come back to the same nest each year. They pick a mate and stay with them for life - no D-I-V-O-R-C-E in eagledom!Peggy - Ted had a wonderful time!
Fabulous pictures Laura! In the winter we have eagles that migrate south to the bay but I've never seen them. I can't imagine the eagles being so plentiful!Tonight we had a red tailed hawk on the line in front of the houseand I thought that was a big deal. lol! Thanks for sharing. I love the birds! Don't they look so serious?!
Good pictures -- I can't wait to hear about your trip.D
After seeing the band on the bird in my yard I came back to see if the eagles were banded, but you can't tell : ( I'll be some of them were though.Sharon
